A Day of Love and Laughter in Edinburgh
We spent around an hour or so wandering through the Gardens, chatting with Nicola and Gavin about their upcoming wedding day, while stopping by at some of the amazing spots the Botanic Gardens have to offer for a quick snap.
A pre wedding couple shoot like this allows us to get to know our couples better, putting them at ease for their big day and giving them a glimpse of what to expect.
Why We Love Photographing at Edinburgh Botanic Gardens
The Edinburgh Botanic Gardens is one of our favourite locations for couple shoots due to the serene backdrops it offers and the occasional friendly squirrel that will come and say hi if you have some food!
The location makes for a nice wee day out, to just stroll around getting to know our couples and every time we visit, we are able to find new photo opportunities to explore.

As the day drew to a close, we left the Edinburgh Botanic Gardens with a collection of images that perfectly capture Nicola and Gavin’s love and anticipation for their wedding day. We are excited to be part of their journey and can’t wait to document even more special moments as they tie the knot.
