We had the pleasure of joining Jennifer and Andrew on their wedding day at the Grange Manor Hotel.
They had us both for the full day, so throughout the day, Anna was helping to get alternate angles. This helps a lot during ceremonies in smaller rooms, as it’s not always easy to move to get alternate angles.
After the ceremony, we headed outside to get a few rounds of group photos, before taking requests from friends and family to get their own group shots.
We then went for a wee wander with the couple to get some amazing couples photos, which gave them a bit of quiet time to relax, before heading back in to mingle with the guests and get ready for the speeches and food. We try our best to keep our couples shoots as painless as possible, preferring to bring movement into the scenes and avoid awkward posing!
As this was a winter wedding, the night soon rolled in, so we took advantage of this and brought the couple out once more to grab a few quick umbrella shots, which we think turned out amazing. Anna hides behind the couple with a flash pointing into the umbrella, which turns the umbrella into a natural soft box. This is something we have been experimenting with and is getting better every time we do it!
