We are a husband and wife wedding photography team, so yes, we can shoot together!, this is what makes us unique, instead of a random student second shooter, you get a couple that know exactly where we need to be and when. We work together in unison to make sure no moment goes uncaptured.
On average we deliver 600 – 800 fully edited images for a full-day wedding, but the exact number depends on your schedule, guest count and events during the day.
Absolutely! We cover all of Scotland and love destination weddings. Travel within 60 miles of Edinburgh is included. Anything further afield and we would just add a small travel fee based on our costs and time involved.
We pride ourselves on a quick turnaround. We officially state 2 weeks to cover ourselves duiring busy periods, but we usually have the full gallery delivered within a few days from the wedding!, so you won't be left hanging for months wondering where your images are!
Of course!, you can download all the images in high resolution from your online gallery to print and share them yourself. You also have the option to order prints directly from us via your gallery. It's a seamless process with much higher quality results than your average supermarket prints!
It all starts with dropping us a message with some basic details about your wedding. If we have your date available, then we will usually try and jump on a quick wee zoom call with you so you can get to know us a little better and go over the basic details. If you are happy to proceed, then we would send a contract, take a deposit and get you booked in!
We find breaking the payments down into 3 payments makes it easier for our couples to budget. So the deposit would be the first 1/3 payment based on which ever package you choose to go with. Followed by a second payment 6 months before the wedding and then the final payment 1 month before your big day. We have tried a few methods in the past and this one seemed to be the most popular with our couples as it keeps the payments manageable.
Yes, we are fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance. We can provide proof of this if your venue requires it.
Some photographers put this in their contract... But we find that's a bit cheeky!. We always turn up to weddings with food for the day. If you decide to feed us, then that would be a lovely bonus!, but it's not expected.
It hasn't happened yet where either of us has been too ill to turn up to a wedding, it would take us being totally bed bound to keep us away. However, if that were to happen, then we are in a lucky position that there is 2 of us. If you had both of us booked, then we have a network of talented photographers that we can pull on to source another second shooter for the day... But we hope that never happens!.
Years of being a Software Engineer has taught me the importance of backups!. We take backups very seriously... probably too much!. It starts with having 2 memory cards in each camera, if one fails, then no biggie, the other has the same photos. After the wedding, the first thing we do is copy the images to another hard drive, which then automatically backs up to the cloud and a second archive hard drive. Then once the images have been edited, they are uploaded to your online gallery, meaning your images are backed up in 4 different places!.
