Elen and Olivia wanted to elope in the tranquil woods around Loch an Eilein with the only witnesses being us and the Videographer. They asked us if we’d actually be one of their official witnesses for the wedding, which we were so honoured to do!
We started off the day at their B&B nearby for the lovely couple getting ready. We made sure to capture as many details as possible, while we documented the process.
Being 2 girls, they both had beautiful, vibrant pink dresses, which really stood out and made the pictures look amazing.
After capturing an intimate first look, we headed over to the loch, where a range rover was waiting for us to take us to the beautiful spot that they had picked out, next to the water. I may have not been telling the whole truth when I said we were the only witnesses, because there was a family of ducks by the water, who watched on and came up to say hi.
We captured as many candid moments as possible during the ceremony, making sure every emotion was preserved forever, before moving on to the first dance, where the Elen & Olivia had prepared a choreographed dance performance that resulted in some tears being shed from Anna. It was a beautiful moment being out in the woods with a couple of pretty in pink princesses!
After the first dance, we had a stroll through the woods, stopping off along the way to get some stunning couples photos. Elen and Olivia had decided that they wanted to get their feet wet and both of them waded into the water in their dresses, making for some once in a lifetime pictures.
We had an amazing time with Elen and Olivia and their wedding day is definitely the most peaceful and tranquil we have had the pleasure of capturing. We wish them all the best in their marriage.
