Lisa and John’s wedding at the Strathaven Hotel was absolutely stunning. Lisa has her own florist and created all the bouquets and decorations for her own wedding! This made our job so easy as Wedding Photographers, because this combined with the venue meant that we weren’t short on photo opportunities and always had a great backdrop for the stunning couple.
The Venue: Strathaven Hotel
The Strathaven Hotel provided an amazing backdrop for Lisa and John’s wedding day. Known for it’s charming architecture and beautiful gardens, the hotel offered us numerous ideal areas for taking breathtaking wedding photos. The rooms are all well lit too, with nice big windows, which makes our job so much easier!
Capturing the Day
We were with Lisa and John all day, from getting ready until well into the dancing at the end of the night. We focused on capturing every raw emotion as it unfolded, with a couple of mini photo sessions through the day, including an amazing confetti throw, which all the guests participated in and made for an amazing photo opportunity.
